Funerals...

So...yesterday my grandpa died.

It was so unreal..my mom called to tell me grandpa died and all I could say was which one? I was obviously thinking it was my dad's parent, since he has cancer ya know, but it wasn't.

It was my mom's dad. my Grandpa Chadwick. It's so heartbreaking to know that he suddenly passed away without anything really happening. My mom just saw him the night before at 4pm. He was eating dinner and watching one of his shows. It's so sad!

I'll always miss him. It's still unreal :(

I miss and love you grandpa! you'll never be forgotten!

So his funeral is on tuesday at 1pm. I don't know how I'm going to deal with it alone...it's really going to suck!

Life is TOUGH.

Just recently I've gone through a lot of stuff that I didn't even think was going to happen. And now I really have to figure it all out!

I found out that it's going to cost A LOT for me to finish school...like more than I really thought! So now my future really is up in the air...

What to do...what to do.....?

End of 2011, begining of 2012

There has been so much going on lately that I really haven't had the chance to update the blog.

Starting off, thanksgiving was a fun day. We got to spend it with my grandparents and cousins and friends. There was a lot of food, a lot of laughter and overall a lot of people..haha. But nonetheless, it was a good day. Shortly after thanksgiving, my mom was taken to the hospital and was admitted for a gall bladder surgery. A 3 day stay turned into 3 weeks of in and out stays because her surgeon couldn't get his act together and do what he should have done. Thank goodness all that nonsense is over with, it was so tiring!

December wasn't that bad either...it started out, spending loads of time at the hospital with my mom. But after her last visit there, it was smooth sailing. Christmas was actually enjoyable for once in who knows how many years! There was a ton of laughter going on with my best friend and with the rest of the family. Hopefully every year after this past one will be just as good!

January started off on a semi-good note. I got to spend it with my girlfriend, finally! Now that it's almost the half-way mark of January....who knows what's going to happen?

Hopefully it's not going to all be bad!

A much longer break...

So I decided that I was going to take a break from school. 

It really wasn't that easy of a decision either. It's like I'm putting my whole education on hold, which I needed. But then again, it's still weird because I've been going non-stop since March. But now that I've taken this break, it really gives me a time to think and to figure out my next move.

Yesterday, I made breadsticks..from SCRATCH! I didn't really think they would come out as good as they did! My girlfriend said they were awesome, which is really a compliment because she is so picky on what she eats! So...tonight, I'm making some more to go along with dinner. But I'm going to be using a different recipe, and then I'll try to figure out which one I like better.

Now that thanksgiving is around the corner, I've been trying to come up with a way to make stuff for people for christmas. I want to make something useful and possibly something they'll appreciate, although I do have to buy some things. I'm just happy that this year is almost over! It has been a difficult one for me, so hopefully 2012 will be better!

Too many decisions!

So...Since this mod has started, which has only been a week! I've been having these like mini emotional breakdowns. It's like I'm psyching myself out, but mentally I really don't think I can do much in the whole kitchen thing.

Now comes the big decision, finishing at this school after I take a break for 2 mods or go to the community college? My girlfriend and I really have a TON to talk about! We've already talked alot about it, but there really is more to talk about!

Can we say, STRESSED to the max??! I don't know which to decide, but in the end, I just hope it will be a good one!

Busy Bee!

So...I've been lagging on the whole being on the computer thing..but I do have a good reason for it!

I was offered an opportunity to work for a catering company at the fair we have here in Fresno, The Big Fresno Fair. It feels like the longest hours ever, but in the end, it's good experience.

After I get off work, I'm stuck in the car until I get to school at 5:10ish..it sucks! But I can't skip school, there's too much to do in the short time I'm there, although sometimes I do think about skipping class..haha.

But today, I woke up at 8am, WITHOUT an alarm! and made cupcakes!

Blended days

so...this week has barely started, but it feels as if it's already over! School just blurs along like nothing has happened. Although it hasn't since its just Tuesday!

and of course, we have a ServSafe test tonight...which I'm not even worried about...which is weird because I really should be!

in other news, im finally buying printer ink! it's only taken me like a couple months, cus ive been so lazy about it! SOOOO...instead of buying ink, i have been changing the color of the font to dark grey so the color ink can still be used...lazy i know, but in the end it really did work! haha

I'm still doing recipes for my cookbook, i hope i can combine what i typed up at school last night with what i've done here at home. *fingers crossed!*
